Horizon offers thorough instruction for Project Managers at our corporate offices in Atlanta, Georgia. Whether you are new to the Project Manager position or need refresher training on the setup and functionality of the current software versions, the 3 or 4 days of intensive, interactive learning with a certified Horizon instructor can greatly assist your efforts. These classes also offer the opportunity to interact with other K–12 customers facing similar, real-world scenarios.
This material focuses on the basic day-to-day functionality and initial setups for both our front and back office products. The material covers additional functionality with more in-depth instruction that builds on what was learned in the classroom but also builds on the real world experiences and resulting best practices.
Class size is kept at a manageable level to maintain an optimum student-to-teacher ratio. Horizon’s instructors use well-thought-out lesson plans and provide handout materials for participants to help reinforce the instruction and to use as a reference later. Each student is provided with a computer to perform hands-on, learn-by-doing exercises. Upon completion of each course, students take online exams that provide instant grading. Any areas that are unclear are identified and reinforced. Classroom training can be held in Horizon’s Atlanta training facility or can be adapted to your local facilities. .
Tuesday–Thursday or Friday: 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Eastern Time
On the last day of class, we will generally end around 2:00-2:30 p.m. to allow time to get back to the airport for a 5:00 p.m. flight.
