EXTENDED: Horizon Will Match Your Donation to the School Nutrition Foundation
Editorial Team

UPDATE: Horizon has extended this exclusive donation-matching campaign through October 31, 2018.

We are proud to announce a special partnership with the School Nutrition Foundation. During National School Lunch Week (October 15-19, 2018), we will accept donations to the foundation via MyPaymentsPlus.com, our K-12 online payment system. We will match donations up to $10,000.

The School Nutrition Foundation provides scholarships and development opportunities to child nutrition professionals and expands school meal programs through resources and education. “We are extremely passionate about the professionals we serve, and to be able to support the foundation’s efforts and further serve this incredible industry is very special,” said Liz Roesel, Horizon’s marketing manager. “The closer I worked with the foundation team, the more I realized many child nutrition professionals aren’t aware of everything the foundation provides for them and their programs. I hope that, ultimately, we will bring awareness to their resources as well as contribute financially.”

Sandra Ford, chair of the School Nutrition Foundation, said, “We are grateful for Horizon’s support of the foundation – I am excited by the challenge of mobilizing donors to reach the full match.  With partners like Horizon, the foundation can make a bigger impact in the lives of children.”

To qualify for the donation matching, donations must be made to the School Nutrition Foundation on MyPaymentsPlus.com from October 15-19, 2018. To donate, visit MyPaymentsPlus and click ‘Register Now.’ Select your state and the ‘School Nutrition Foundation’ as your ‘school district.’ After creating an account and logging in, select ‘NSLW Donation to the School Nutrition Foundation’ to enter a donation amount and make a payment. Stay tuned to our blog to follow the campaign, including the total amount of donations generated during National School Lunch Week 2018.
