If you haven’t seen what’s going on at the School Nutrition Foundation, you are missing out on some exciting opportunities! SNF helps child nutrition professionals advance their careers through scholarships and professional development, and expand school meal programs through resources and education.

They have quite a few exciting initiatives they will highlight at the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference next week in Las Vegas, including the launch of their brand-new website. And Horizon is excited to show our support for SNF on the biggest stage in school nutrition.

There are two ways to get one of these exclusive “This Shirt Feeds Hungry Kids” t-shirts, with designed by the talented Alaina Macke of the Horizon Creative Team. Make a $20 donation at the SNF Booth and automatically receive a shirt, or play SNF Trivia for $10 for your chance to win a shirt. There are a limited supply of these shirts, so be sure you visit SNF Booth, located by the registration desk, early so you can get a shirt before they are all gone!

If you’re not going to be at ANC, you can still follow the excitement on social media! Stefanie Dove, RDN, CDN, SNS of Loudon County Public Schools and Amanda Venezia of Londonderry School District are hosting a social media takeover of SNF on FacebookInstagram and Twitter(Did you hear Stefanie and Amanda’s episode of Gab ‘N Go Podcast? Listen to Episodes 9 and 10 for marketing and video tips from these school nutrition innovators!)

And you’ll absolutely want to stay tuned for an exciting announcement from Horizon and the School Nutrition Foundation on the final day of #ANC18. We will make this announcement live at booth #343 in ANC’s exhibit hall and broadcast on the Horizon Facebook Page at 2pm Pacific Time.

We look forward to Welcoming You to Bright Ideas at #ANC18 in Las Vegas!
